Camas Torsa

glacier talks
under ocean moon

above Resipole rises & shrinks
tide swills & hangs

Spindrift’s gutting across
sun’s line of gulls

its engine throb hub
of the scoured world

Very evocative.

My first visit to Scotland was in Spring. I remember standing on a beach on Lewis and feeling that sharp salty cold sunlight. I'd like to go back there again, maybe look at Callanish. :-D

The joke with "look" is that we did go to Callanish, but there was this charming collie wanting to play fetch with pebbles. I spent more time throwing small stones than looking at the big ones.
